Stop the trend!

Attention Fellow Photographer, soon to be Photographer and want-to-be Photographers. This affects you all. I have noticed over the last while a trend that is frightening to our careers. This trend is Giving FREE or Undervalued photographic service. Offering your services for free or charging way below industry standard in order to acquire work. This may assist you short term in building clientele, However it creates an ideal that is harmful and tough to change. It affects Professionals who have honed their craft for years, New photographers that are getting into the field and any potential for future generations to even think of it as a viable career path. Its up to us to create a “new” understanding that our time has a value. So be Smart! You don’t have to listen or even agree, Just wait, You may be kicking yourself. Don’t destroy your own profession.
